Jackie Norris is a non-profit leader, political aide, business owner, and mother who cares deeply about her community and has the experience to represent the vision and values of the community. She is currently the president and owner of SPPG and Essman Research but has worked in a variety of positions including as the White House Chief of Staff to First Lady Michelle Obama, the CEO of Goodwill of Central Iowa, and served in leadership at the non-profit Points of Light. Her most rewarding position however was as a high school government teacher where she worked with students and encouraged them to use their voices and advocate for causes they believed in.

As the mom of 3 teenage sons, a teacher, and an active volunteer at Roosevelt High, Jackie understands what our schools need and will be a forceful advocate for high quality education.
